Academics
At Taylor ISD, the Taylor Opportunity Center provides specialized educational pathways designed to meet students' unique academic, behavioral, and personal needs. Through two distinct programs—the Disciplinary Alternative Education Program (DAEP) and the Achievement Program—students receive the support, structure, and flexibility needed to overcome challenges, achieve academic success, and remain on track for graduation. Beyond earning credits and meeting graduation requirements, the Taylor Opportunity Center is committed to preparing students for life after high school by fostering the skills, responsibility, and confidence needed for college, career, and military readiness. Whether a student needs behavioral intervention and guidance or a more personalized, self-paced learning environment, our goal is to help every student build a strong foundation for future success.
