Welcome to my page!

I am the High School Math teacher at the Taylor Opportunity Center. This will be my eighth year at the TOC and my 23rd year as a teacher. I enjoy working with our population of students at TOC, because I want to help them be more successful and make better life choices.  I am committed to helping my students learn to be compliant, successful, productive members of society.

I have two grown children, both boys.  They both enjoy successful careers, and are happily married to wonderful women.  No grandchildren yet.   I live in Taylor with my rescued basset hound whose mission in life is to greet me enthusiastically when I come home and stay right by my side wherever I go. He is comical, playful, and lightning fast when he sees unattended snacks.
I enjoy traveling, doing projects around my home,  reading a good book, and going to the gym (not!).  One of my personal goals for this year is to continue to make my home a haven that is comfortable, calming, and helps me recharge.
